1. Strengthen Communication & Partnerships

Deliver clear, consistent outreach through newsletters, reports, and direct engagement.
Build strong relationships with superintendents, Boards, staff, industry, and community partners.
Foster shared decision-making and governance that keeps CRBOCES responsive to local needs.
2. Build a Strong & Sustainable Organization

Align people and roles for maximum organizational effectiveness.
Ensure financial stewardship with transparent, strategic budgeting and reporting.
Provide clarity with updated structures, resources, and a CRBOCES handbook for districts and partners.
3. Deliver High-Quality & Responsive Programming

Strengthen Special Education and expand school-based mental health supports.
Align CTE, EPIC, and YMHS pathways to workforce demands and student success.
Collaborate with districts on grants and shared initiatives that enhance opportunities for students.

The Colorado River BOCES (board of cooperative education services) has been serving school districts in the Roaring Fork Valley to De Beque since 2017. Our main office is located in Parachute, CO. We provide special education leadership and services, administer Yampah Mountain High School, provide alternative licensure, regional Career and Technical Education, and administers Colorado's supplemental and blended learning program.

BOCES are an important and vital part of public educational systems in Colorado. The Colorado River BOCES helps to provide opportunities for rural districts that otherwise may not be able to provide.
