Individual Learner Pathway
The heart of the program is achieved through an individualized (personalized) learning plan (now called My Learning Plan) for each participant. The program prefers to have participants be able to receive professional learning in the context offered through their district and BOCES as part of the participant's normal course of duties. This allows for learning to occur in a more tangible way and in a manner that aligns learning with local expectations. These "Learner Activities" are identified for each of the required competencies. Should a local or regional option not be available, the program has virtual offerings to complete the learning experience.
The ILP varies depending on the license and endorsement that the participant is seeking.
